Vriligy 60 mg is marketed as containing dapoxetine 60 mg, a short-acting SSRI used on demand to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men aged 18–64. It works by affecting serotonin signaling and can increase the time to ejaculation and improve ejaculatory control. 60 mg is the maximum recommended dose, not the usual starting dose. Treatment should normally begin with 30 mg, taken approximately 1–3 hours before sexual activity. If 30 mg is insufficient and well tolerated, a doctor may increase it to 60 mg. It should not be taken more than once every 24 hours.
